D R E A M D A R E DO
The counterclockwise trail of Spiti valley circuit tour leads from Chandigarh and passes through Shimla, Narkanda, Sarahan, Chitkul, Nako, Tabo and Kaza. The closing line of Spiti circuit traverses along the Spiti river and meets Manali town after it passes through the Atal tunnel or Rohtang pass.
The valley is bounded by the districts of Kinnaur in the south-east, Kullu in the south, and the valleys of Zanskar & Ladakh in the north. In the east, Spiti shares its boundary with Tibet.
The name Spiti or Piti — as it is known among the locals— means ‘The middle land’ that is the land between India and Tibet.
Day 1 | Chandigarh - Shimla / Narkanda
Day 01 - we will decide accordingly either Shimla or Sarahan as per your flight schedule .
SARAHAN - SANGLA ( 6 hrs )
Today we drive from Tirthan to Sagla crossing Jalori pass and following Old silk route along with satluj river .
The drive takes you through breathtaking views of valley .
The drive curves and goes along Satluj river .
Day 3 | Sangla – Rangcham walk trek ( 3 HRS)
Today we leave with pack lunch for beautiful Rakcham walk . Trek is for 3 hrs . We do this trek and have lunch up there .
Back by evening to our beautiful property .
Rakcham is a small village of nomads located around 13 km from the apple town of Sangla in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The nomadic village is situated at an altitude of 10,000 feet above sea-level (3048 metres) and is sandwiched between Sangla and the last village on the Indo-Tibet border, Chitkul.
Day 4 - Sangla - Nako - tabo ( 7 hrs )
Today we enter Spiti valley and start with 1000 year old mud monastery in Tabo .
Our next 4 days will be in Spiti ..
Day 5 Tabo - Mud village - Pin Valley( Travel time - 3 hrs )
Today we go to one of remotest village of Spiti Valley.
Mudh village is very remote and gives true sense of Spiti culture.
Here we will staying in True Spiti house .
DAY 06- Pin - Dhankar Monastery and lake - Kaza (4hrs)
Today we will be going from Pin valley to one of most beautiful Monastries in Trip .
Its called Dhankar monastery.
Dhankar in mountains is a name given to space which is having steep fall on one side .
From here we trek for 1.5 hr to Dhankar lake .
At an elevation of 4,140 metres (13,580 ft), it lies above the Dhankar monastery.
Its a very dry trek . But once we reach at this altitude we can enjoy the great views . Back from lake and over to Kaza . Stay at Kaza .
Kaza is small town . After getting so much publicity it has become a small mountain hub with some good eating places and is full of youngsters .
Day 7 , 8
Day 7 and 8 we will be exploring more of spiti visiting Langza , ki , kibber , chicham and our Planet Spiti foundation school .Which is also worlds highest hostel for school run for local spitian kids .
We will keep these 2 open days depending on group enthu and condition .
Mainly we will be covering everything in spiti .
Day 9 kaza to Chandertal ( 6hrs )
Today we drive to Chandetal lake over kunzum pass and reach the camp where we have to stay.
Chander as says is lake of moon and is also known as most beautiful lake in entire region .
Lake was given status of Ramsar wetlands which makes it part of important wetland .
Day 9
Today we reach one of most beautiful lakes in Himalaya and highlight of trip
Chandertal lake . Today after parikrama we leave for Manali from Atal tunnel .
DAY 10 -
Today we spend day in Manali .
Manali .. back in civilization .
This day can also be used as buffer day in between trip .
Day 11 -We can enjoy Paragliding and rafting on the way and reach
Chandigarh

Spiti trip is where conditions change very fast . So we have kept one buffer day which is day 10 .
It can be used anywhere at anytime depending on any change in plan and route .
We have kept day hikes and walks in between .
To be on this trip one needs to be mentally prepared for roughing out .
