About Us
I had been  a house wife all my life untill I came to tirthan few years back and started helping in managing a beautiful  homestay in Tirthan Valley.

I slowly discovered that people travelling to offbeat places have a diffrent mindset then regular tourist coming to kullu Manali .

I have seen that there are  tourist ( one just want to stay in hotel room with TV, room service and butter chicken ) They have list of sight seen things and just tick off things .

Where as other category was of Travelers .
The group of people or individual who would like to explore the areas which are less travelled . Be part of community and love to experince local culture , food and lifestyle .

This trip is for TRAVELER'S not Tourist 
We have designed this trip as per my experince with local community .I want to showcase our culture food and lifestyle ...

Vocal for Local : Now its time for mountain people to come ahead and run the show.
Have you ever given a thought  how your travel impact the local economy. 
If you travel with big companies the part of share that locals of any community get is not more then 10% but instead they get garbage , disrespect for local culture and slowly they see  dilutation of there strong community bond.
It's responsibility of Empower Ecotourism to not let these things happen . We want to safeguard and show our place and culture at same time .




Number of days - 4 
Thursday , Friday ,Saturday ,Sunday 

Thursday  - Tonight we board an evening Volvo from Delhi and do overnight travel to Tirthan .
Bus takes 12 hrs .

Friday - Today we get down from bus and our cab picks you up and brings you to Tirthan valley .
We check in at local homestay and take some rest . 
Followed by breakfast and briefing on trip .

Around noon our Guide comes and take you to beautiful village walk , showcasing village lifestyle and then we go to small waterfall near by .

In evening  we all gather near Bonn fire and enjoy local stories .Living Good - Botique Himalayan stay

Saturday 
Today we all gather at breakfast . Our cab will pick you up and we all leave for beautiful  Jamala Meadows. 
We drive for 1 hour and  reach beautiful  Sarchi Village .
Thereafter we trek for 30 mins to beautiful  Jamala Meadows. 
We will have our lunch up here in open Meadows. 
Serving local Rajma ( grown here itself ) with kadi rice and chapati .

In evening today we will have traditional food Dhaam .


Sunday : 
Today we keep easy day and go to local Gharat ( local water mill )where we make our courn flour today and make Makki ki roti , Maah ki daal  with local siddu .
This is our traditional lunch ...
From here we say bye to valley and our cabs pick us by evening and we leave to Aut to take evening Volvo to Delhi. 

On top of it 10% of Total trip cost will go in supporting our local alternative education  school in the valley .
